Principal's Message

Dear Marguerita Families,

The 2023-2024 school year is here!  I am always filled with excitement at the start of a new school year, but this one is extra special as our three year modernization construction project is now fully completed. Our main building, auditorium and cafeteria are reopened and ready for students, families and staff. Additionally, I am happy to report that our solar panel project was also completed over the summer and will be powering our school and offering a lot of shade to our students on the blacktop. With these major projects being completed our school has been fully updated and will definitely be a source of pride for all to use and enjoy. Thank you for all of your patience, dedication and support throughout our construction project! 

First, I would like to extend a warm welcome to all of our new Husky students and families. Welcome to the Marguerita family! I want to thank you for taking the time to read this lengthy letter, which has many embedded links. Please save this information for your reference as it will be important throughout the school year. As we begin the 2023-2024 academic year, please know that it is my absolute privilege to continue as principal of Marguerita School for my 2nd consecutive year. It is an honor to partner with you in the education and well-being of our Huskies. I am very pleased to report that our campus leadership team will again continue to include Ms. Munguia, our Assistant Principal, Mr. Chae, our Intervention Advisor and overseer of our Gateway to Success (GTS) and Social Emotional Learning (SEL) programs, and Cathleen Wu who will continue as our Instructional Coach.
